Mrs. Pellin's Post
August 23rd to September 10th

I am so happy to be starting my 10th year at Elizabeth Ide this year. It has been an honor and a pleasure to work with the students, families, and the staff in this wonderful school district.

For the first few weeks, the Response to Intervention (RTI) team will be assessing the kindergarten, first and second grade students. These assessments will help to group the students and establish schedules for the RTI program. This program matches the skilled based intervention for each students needs. We will begin these interventions with students on Monday, September 13th.

Center Cass School District # 66 has implemented an Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) mandate, Response To Intervention (RTI). RTI is an array of procedues that can be used to determine if and how students respond to specific changes in instruction. RTI provides an improved process and instruction for school teams in designing and implementing educational interventions.
